Bulgarian Prime Minister Angelov, eager to finally solve the long-running case after forty years, enlisted the professor’s help. Together with Maja Altova of the Bulgarian State Archives, Von Falckensteyn enthusiastically tackled the case and found himself in an international hotbed.
